The Olson Family

Our family began the adoption process around two years ago.  We felt called and so we began the process with a local adoption agency near our home in Iowa.  We always felt called to Africa and so we began to pursue adoption through our agency with Liberia.  Not long after we were in the process Liberia closed to adoption and so, as it is with all adoptions, we began to wait and wait.  After it looked like Liberia would take longer than we were willing to wait we began searching for another adoption agency who would accept our home study and allow us to hit the ground running.  I heard about Hope Adoption Agency from another Christian adoption agency in our fellowship of agencies called Love Basket.  Love Basket has a relationship with Hope and so we began to get to know the people at Hope.  I was able to have a conversation with Shimeliss over the phone and we got started with all the paperwork.  Once we completed the paperwork with Hope things just seemed to fall into place rapidly.  We couldn’t be more happy with our two children and how they are blending into our family.  While in Africa things happened just as they told us they would and it was a very smooth transition and transaction.  We felt that our children were much healthier than we expected they would be.  We are so thankful to the nurses and nannies at the Transition home as well as those at Faith Children’s Home.  If God calls us to adopt again we will certainly utilize Hope Adoption Agency.

Sincerely,

Jason and Kristen Olson
